KIMEE is a non-profit foundation that carries out consistent and integrating research and evaluation over the entire process of medical education from pre-medical education to continuous professional development to promote the systematic advancement of overall medical education and further contribute to the improvement of public health.
Accreditation of Medical Education
- Accreditation of medical education programs of the 40 medical schools in Korea
- Development and maintenance of the accreditation system and standards
- Accreditation of medical education by global standards
Medical Education Research
- Research on Medical Education
- Research on improvement of graduate medical education and continuing professional development, and execution of diverse initiatives for a professional competency evaluation
- Sponsoring Medical Education Conference hosted by the Korean Society of Medical Education (KSME) and the Korea Association of Medical Colleges (KAMC)
